Week 515: Wisdom gives hope

The Voice Posted on Mon, October 05, 2015 10:24:48

To be in a hopeless situation is devastating especially when ones future depends on the present achievement or state. But the question is did God not know about it? Yes, God knows about every situation and it is never too late for Him to change a situation, as a matter of fact He can reverse the irreversible.

Understanding that God has all wisdom required to put you in a position he had created you for is important and it is wisdom to know this. It will give you ability to wait upon Him until all His promises are fulfilled.

In John 11: 1-44, a man called Lazarus fell sick and this was told Jesus but before Jesus got to him, he was already dead. But at the end, the one that died rose up and live again. Have you told Jesus about your situation and things are getting worse. Trust Him, He has never been too late. If you have not told Him about the situation, commit it into His hand now that He may give you hope. Jesus knew Lazarus is not going to die “John 11:4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby”. Although, Lazarus later died but Jesus raised him up from the grave.

Whatever you are passing through now is for God to be gloried. Though you can see the situation as dead and people have been comforting you that God will do another one. Only believe, God will intervene this month and all the people around shall see unlimited God working again your life.

It is not finish until it is finished. If you have not heard God saying it is finish, then don’t hesitate to trust Him. As you hope in what God will do this month, you shall not be disappointed in Jesus name.

Prayer Points.

God, help me to know more of you in Jesus name

God, let all your promises be established in my life.

God, you are responsible for the understanding of the wise grant me understanding in Jesus name

Week 3: Whose Ambassador are you?

The Voice Posted on Mon, September 21, 2015 12:44:01

We are called Christians because we have the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is on this basis that we are called ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor 5 : 20 – Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God). However, some believers have not been representing the Kingdom of God faithfully because of our negligence of ambassadorial duties. As ambassadors, we cannot be lax in our responsibilities to God and humanity, or else, God can dismiss us and appoint faithful and committed ambassadors.

Apostle Paul was unique and was a perfect example of an ambassador for Christ, as he was able to preach the gospel of Christ to the gentiles, kings, priests, Jews and did not spare a chance in preaching the Word of God when opportunities opened up. We need to take a cue from Apostle Paul’s preaching skills to win souls into the Kingdom of Heaven. By doing this, we are fulfilling the commission Jesus Christ has bestowed on us to make disciples of all nations. We should not be despair, discourage or disappointed in executing this critical assignment of soul-winning.

However, we need to always pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us and put words in our mouth. If we have the heart for the conversion of the lost souls, then God will help us to reach out to them because it is the desire of God for souls not to perish in hell fire. More so, Proverb 11:30 says ….. and he that wins souls is wise, which buttresses the fact that we have filled with divine wisdom if we have passion for soul-winning.

Prayer:

– Father, help me to be a faithful and committed ambassador for Christ

– Father, grant me the passion for preaching your gospel to all people

– Father, let Your Holy Spirit grant me utterance when preaching Your

Week 34: Reason for Rejoicing

The Voice Posted on Mon, August 24, 2015 11:55:15

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say … Psalms 124:1-2.

At moment, many people most especially Christians would have been ticking the list of requests presented to God early this year. For some people, they still have one or two requests awaiting divine response. But, there is one request many Christians do not write down, this is “gift of life” You need to have it to be able to tick a list of requests for accomplishment and we don’t really appreciate God for it. Many people would have been able to testify, as all their prayer requests were granted but they are no more alive to do that. For the fact that you are alive means you shall wait to see all your heart desires accomplished in Jesus name.

God sees and knows the heart of men. If you cannot think about what God had done for you, you cannot be thankful. Every new day one is alive is reserved for those that will appreciate God for what He has done so far. He had already promised. Psalm 65:11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. These goodness are for those that will determine to celebrate God despite their situation or circumstances.

I pray, the joy of the Lord shall be your strength. Do not give up on your good pursuits this year, many people miss their miracles because they decided to postpone the miracle to the other month or year through their confessions.

Prayer Point

God, bring to my remembrance many things you have done for me this year so that I may put on the garment of praise.

God, help me not to be ungrateful child to you in Jesus name.

Week 33: Engaging God

The Voice Posted on Tue, August 18, 2015 11:14:38

The spiritual, political, financial and material ability of anyone you engage for your support in battle or circumstance is important to the success you should be expecting. If you engage man to fight for you or help to solve your problems or face your challenges, then you will soon know that men have limitations. Rom 3:4 “… But let God be the truth and every man a liar…” How many times man had promised and not that they do not want to fulfil them but realised they are no more capable of doing those things they promised.

Whatever you are passing through either good or bad, always engage God in your situations through thanksgiving, prayer or supplication. When the journey is good and smooth, let God be aware that you recognised His presence in it.

Those who perform wickedness engage their gods or power source in their battle with explanation of what is required to be done. As Christian, God is the only one that can fight our battle or plea our course and defend our case. Psalm 34:10 “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing”. Discuss your case or situation with God first before man and believe He will help you. When God is the first among someone’s helpers, the fellow is helped. God will cause everything He created to stand in your favour. When God fights for you, you will be afraid and sometimes beg Him to stop. Ex 14:14 “The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace”

God will not defend or fight for you unless you are His and call on Him to arise for you. I pray as you call upon God in your situation, He will arise for you in Jesus name.

Prayer Points.

· 1Sa 2:9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. God, I cannot help myself, help me to keep my feet in your way always.

· God fight every seen and unseen battles of my life and let me keep my peace in Jesus name.

Week 32: Hope for the hopeless

Prayer Points.

God, every lost opportunity that have become hopeless situation, breath on them

to come back to life this month in Jesus name.

Isa 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

God, be with me when I pass through waters in Jesus name.

Week 31: Covenant and remembrance

The Voice Posted on Mon, August 03, 2015 11:24:19

Covenant is an agreement between God and man, promise made to God or man in the name of God. Many people’s life look like the forgotten ones as there is nothing seems working fine with them, although they can still glorify God for many things but right within them they know where they are is not where they suppose to be. This mostly happens due to negligence of covenant or vow they have made with God. It is quite important we ask for the grace to keep our side of the covenant or vow. “Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine”. Many people make vow to God easily and they relent to fulfill them and this stands against their blessings. The scripture says in Numbers 30:2 “If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth”. God is a covenant keeping God. He wants you to do your part and be remembered.

Many Christians today have deliberately broken their vows to do some things in the name of the Lord or fulfill their part in God’s covenant. I pray God will remind you every unpaid vows and help you to pay them and enjoy to the fullest the benefits of God covenants in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer Points

Isa 57:18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

– God remind and help me to restore vows and covenants I have broken that you may see my ways right before you and restore me on every side in Jesus name.

Exo 6:5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

Week 30: The Quest to Arise

The Voice Posted on Mon, July 27, 2015 10:07:01

Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the
Lord is risen upon thee.

The word
arise is a call out and also a command at the same time. However, the choice to
hid this command is left to us to decide. The same way we are told to choose
this day whom we will serve in Joshua 24:15 is the same way we
either decide to remain down or get up. The woman with the issue of blood
decided to arise and pursue her miracle Luke 8:43-48. The same goes with
Lazarus who was dead and Jesus commanded his spirit man to come out synonymous
as come forth (John 11:43) and his spirit yielded to that call
because the power calling was supernatural and carried with it grace.

Note that whatever is dead in your life whether
spiritual or physical can come alive again. Seeing this call outs and commands
by Christ as supernatural and powerful will ultimately deliver your
breakthrough to you, because He said in John
6:63 that “…..the word that i speak to you they are spirit and they are
life”.

However, knowing that it is good to arise
from any situation weighing us down is great. On the other hand, you may not
know what the end result of answering the call may deliver unto you thus the
place of faith comes in. Seeing a good description of what faith is
in Heb 11:1, it goes to tell that you don’t have to see the light
at the end of the tunnel but rather believe that you will see the light just
promised us in Prov 23:18 for surely there is an end ; and
thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Prayer Point

Father Lord, grant me the strength I need to arise
from every spiritual and physical slumber.

Father Lord, let every chain hindering me from
arising be broken this day in Jesus name.

Father Lord, help me to please you by arising in
faith.
